Shift: 13 Weeks, 3 X 12's, Nights 7:00 p - 7:00 a. Ratios: 1: 1-3 Years of experience REQ: 3 Years, Community Hospital Experience preferred. First-timers accepted:
No Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed per unit. Weekend REQ: 4-6 weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) AND 2 Friday's per 6-week schedule. Holiday Requirements: 1 major holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas) and 1-2 minor holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, or Labor Day) Certs REQ: BLS, FHM, NRP. AWHONN Advanced AWHONN Intermediate preferred. Skills REQ: IV therapy/Phlebotomy:
Administration of blood & blood products, Drawing Venous Blood, Start & maintain peripheral IV, Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring. Labor and Delivery Management:
Amnioinfusion, Assist with vaginal delivery, Circulate for C-section, Forceps/vacuum extraction, Hemorrhage/shock, Recover C-Section, Sterile vaginal exam. Work Settings:
Antepartum, Community Level experience, Facility births/month
