RN Surgery Manager

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and flexible RN Surgery Manager to join our team. As a Surgery nurse, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment. You will collaborate with physicians and other departments to coordinate patient needs and ensure the highest quality of care. This role requires strong technical skills, critical thinking skills, and exceptional communication skills.

Experience in various surgical sub-specialties is a plus, including neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, trauma, pediatrics, oncology, general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, ear/nose/throat, dental, orthopedics, plastic and reconstructive, and transplant surgery.

Provide nursing leadership for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and safety in assigned areas of responsibility.
Collaborate with physicians and other departments to coordinate the needs of patients and their families. Manage resources in a fiscally responsible manner.
Support the mission and vision of the facility, division, and company. Assure quality care through initiating and evaluating patient care utilizing performance improvement processes.

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state of Missouri RN or Compact License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required at hire and maintained.
• Current state of Missouri RN license required.
• Certification in the area of specialty preferred.
• Three (3) years of current clinical nursing experience required.
