Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position in a tertiary care hospital. This role involves providing specialized patient care within a Level 1 Trauma Hospital environment, with responsibilities including ventilator management, telemetry monitoring, and critical patient interventions. The nurse will work night shifts in a fast-paced, Magnet-recognized facility, supporting high-acuity patients with complex needs.
Job Details- Schedule:
Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week, starting from 10/19/2026 through 01/18/2027. - Required Qualifications:
Two years of clinical experience, current BLS (Basic Life Support) and NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certifications, experience with cardiac telemetry, ventilator management, and working in a Progressive Care Unit. - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Epic charting system, previous community hospital, trauma level I or II experience, and ventilator or pulmonary stepdown experience preferred. - Certifications:
BLS, NIHSS. - Special Procedures/Unit Details:
Ventilator management, endobronchial valves, ventilators, pulmonary procedures, and complex patient care involving airway management and neurological monitoring. - Additional Information:
Regular floating within scope may be required across various departments and units as needed. The facility is a Magnet-recognized, teaching hospital with approximately 456 beds, offering advanced trauma and critical care services. The position may involve working in a high acuity setting with patients requiring complex respiratory and neurological care.

Cross Country Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
