Emergency Department RN - Per Diem

This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department, responsible for providing direct patient care, assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

• Promoting patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
• Educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participating in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients.
• Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values and barriers to involvement in care.
• Maintaining safety and alertness as this position is safety-sensitive.

• Minimum education:
  
  Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree.
• Licensure:
  Valid RN license.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and less than 2 years of experience.
• No prior experience or supervisor experience required.

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
