Registered Nurse- Emergency Department Float

Full-time RN - Emergency Department Float Pool (Night Shift)

We are hiring a full-time RN for our Emergency Department Float Pool. This is a night shift position that will float between all the main hospital locations (Lee’s Summit, Overland Park, North Kansas City, Plaza), 3 Community Hospitals (Legends, Leawood, Roeland Park), and both MO Critical Access hospital locations (Chillicothe & Trenton). Our teams have unit-based leadership teams and are supportive and collaborative on one another.

We believe in creating teams that are kind, professional and treats each other as they would a patient. This is key to being successful in this position. These teams work with innovative processes and technologies. We continue to expand our robotics programs.

* Float Incentive Pay
* Shift: Full Time Nights, 12 hour shifts

• Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
• Delegates tasks appropriately.
• Identifies hospital resources.
• Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
• Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.

  2 years Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Basic Life Support
  - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Trauma Nurse Core Course
  - Emergency Nurse Association Associate Degree
