This is a community that has embraced our hospital and we strive to say thanks by giving back. As a leader in children’s health, we engage in meaningful programs and partnerships throughout the region so that we can improve the lives of children beyond the walls of our hospital.
OverviewThis is a full-time position consisting of four 8-hour shifts per week (day/evening/night). The Emergency Mental Health Crisis Center is a special unit of Children’s Mercy Emergency Department specifically designed to care for children experiencing a behavioral health emergency. The therapeutic environment provides not only care, but assessment, treatment recommendations and care navigation for a family in crisis.
