American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a 7P-7A night shift seasonal assignment requiring TNCC and CPI certifications.
Details- Work in a 38-bed Emergency Department with Rapid, Main, and POD 3 (psych safe area) treatment zones
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Unit utilizes vents, BiPAP, EKG, art lines, Belmont rapid infusers, and chest tubes
- Meditech EMR used for charting
- Floating required to Brookside ED
- Minimum of 4 weekend shifts and 2 Friday shifts required per 4-week schedule
- Coverage required for 2 major and 2 minor holidays
- Active RN license (MO or Compact) required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required
- TNCC certification required
- CPI certification required for ER placement (de-escalation course)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with port placement and chest tube procedures preferred
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Provide direct patient care across Rapid, Main, and psych-safe POD 3 treatment areas
- Navy blue scrubs required per unit dress code
- Must demonstrate strong prioritization, time management, and de-escalation skills
- Patient-focused, detail-oriented, team-player attitude preferred
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel position
