A regional wildlife conservation facility is seeking an Animal Care Intern to assist in caring for animals and maintaining their enclosures, primarily with the Elephant Team. Interns will learn and perform basic husbandry activities and engage with zoo visitors. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and complete relevant coursework. Flexibility in scheduling and strong communication skills are essential for this seasonal role which lasts from May 1st to September 1st.
