SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the operation of the assigned area of the Quality Assurance department. This position plans, develops and directs quality assurance operations and programs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manages departmental resources to ensure appropriate levels of support are provided.
  • Maintains expense and labor expenditures within company budgetary guidelines.
  • Implements and manages the internal audit program to ensure adherence to company and customer quality procedures and standards.
  • Monitors performance against applicable standards and procedures.
  • Oversees the development of processes for improving quality.
  • Supervises assigned quality assurance personnel.
  • Meets with regulatory, supplier, customer, and company personnel to discuss and resolve quality problems as required.
  • Prepares for and represents the company during all related audits.
Knowledge

Skills And Abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to be professional and ethical at all times.
  • Ability to understand complex operations from a broad perspective.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and eight (8) years related experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Five (5) years supervisory or leadership experience required.
  • Prior Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience preferred.

Physical Effort And Dexterity
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee will also be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is $113,000-$168,000 hourly/ DOE, not including bonuses or benefits. Your pay will be based on your experience, skills, and education, as well as internal equity to ensure fairness across the team. Candidates closer to the lower end of the range are typically building their expertise, while those at the higher end bring significant experience and specialized knowledge.

This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
