Role Description The Quality Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Kansas City, MO. This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality standards across production activities such as inspecting, packaging, assembly, kitting, and fulfillment tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting quality checks and audits, documenting findings, assisting with process improvements, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements. The Quality Coordinator collaborates with supervisors and team members to address quality issues, provides clear feedback and coaching, and supports training on quality-related practices.
The role also involves preparing basic quality reports, tracking metrics, and contributing to a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong quality control and quality management skills, with the ability to apply and uphold established standards.
- Experience with quality auditing and routine inspections to ensure consistent adherence to processes and customer specifications.
- Analytical skills to review data, identify trends or issues, and recommend practical improvements to workflows.
- Clear and respectful communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and provide constructive feedback on quality performance.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Ability to work on-site in a production environment, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or fulfillment environments is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in quality assurance or related fields is a plus.
