Doctoral Research Faculty - Dissemination & Implementation Science

Overview

A faculty position in Dissemination and Implementation Science is available within the Division of Health Services and Outcomes Research at Children’s Mercy Kansas City. The successful candidate will enhance the Division’s research capacity and contribute to improvement of child health locally, nationally and internationally.

• Educate faculty on Dissemination and Implementation Science principles in health research.
• Conduct original independent research and collaborate with research teams across Children’s Mercy Kansas City.
• Publish peer‑reviewed manuscripts and seek extramural funding for the research program.
• Work collaboratively with faculty and partner institutions, including more than 50 hospitals and academic institutions worldwide.

• PhD or equivalent advanced degree in Implementation Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration and Management, Health Services Research, or related field.
• Expertise in translating research findings into effective healthcare interventions, programs, or policy.
• Experience with implementation theories, models and frameworks (e.g., CFIR, Precede‑Proceed, PRISM, RE‑AIM).
• Experience with evaluative processes, data analysis methods, and consideration of social, behavioral, economic, and management factors that influence implementation.
