Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Greets guests quickly and courteously.
- Check in VIP guests as they enter the Laurel Lounge.
- Help service guests as necessary in a team aspect. Busses guest seating areas as needed in adjacent area.
- Assists in the responsibilities of all aspects of the VIP Lounge in order to attract and retain guests while contributing to the operating success of the VIP Lounge.
- Maintains a clean workstation.
- Provides personalized service and a great experience for every guest, every time through interaction and building relationships.
- Serves all guests who request To Go orders. This includes taking the order, estimating the wait time, offer drinks while they wait, gather & bag completed order, and deliver to the guest at the host stand.
- Anticipates needs, provides fast, exceptional service and checks for satisfaction of guests.
- Works well with others, especially other wait people, bartenders, cooks, supervisors, etc.
- Promotes and is knowledgeable about casino events/services and promotional campaigns.
- Meeting attendance guidelines of the job and adhering to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
- Must be able to stand or walk 8 hours at a time.
- Must be able to bend, twist, turn, squat and rotate body.
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds above the head.
- Must be able to work a fluctuating schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to use a computer and type on a keyboard throughout shift.
- Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
- Is able to tolerate areas containing, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Must be able to maneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and responds to visual and aural cues.
