Hospital Dishwasher

Overview

We are seeking a Hospital Dishwasher
, sometimes referred to as a Dish Room Attendant or Hospital Sanitation Worker. The Hospital Dishwasher ensures all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. They support food service operations by organizing clean items, assisting with meal preparation, and following strict hospital sanitation and infection control standards.

• Hours: 8‑hour shift (8:00am - 4:30pm)

If you have experience as Dishwasher in a hospital setting you are encouraged to apply!

• Operate commercial dishwashing machines and hand‑wash large pots, pans, and utensils
• Clean and sanitize counters, tables, and equipment while maintaining hygienic work areas
• Sort and store clean dishes, trays, and utensils in proper locations for upcoming meal services
• Assist food service staff with assembling meal trays, setting up cafeteria lines, and transporting carts
• Dispose of food waste, recyclables, and trash according to hospital safety and sanitation rules

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred

• County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current
