This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a well-stocked and visually appealing produce section. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of retail operations, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to food safety and sanitation. This position requires a positive attitude, the ability to multitask, and a keen eye for detail.

• Stocking merchandise, ensuring proper rotation and freshness of produce.
• Loading and unloading deliveries, utilizing pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Merchandising produce displays to maximize sales and appeal to customers.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and assisting with selections.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the produce department.
• Operating the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
• Applying selling techniques to promote produce items and increase sales.
• Monitoring inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies to management.
• Assisting with warehousing tasks as needed, including organization and storage.
• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.

• Working knowledge of arithmetic and general mathematics.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and proficiency in the English language.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with stocking merchandise in a retail environment.
• Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented.

• Prior experience in a produce department or similar retail setting.
