Overview

Outside Sales Rep - Environmental Services (Full-time)

Our client is a company with a story of growth, innovation, and culture. This Environmental Services leader helps organizations keep their promises by offering solutions across document destruction, medical waste removal, environmental solutions, compliance offerings, and sustainability services.

Sales Executives are challenged to sell leading on-site document destruction services, hazardous and medical waste removal, and sustainability solutions to potential customers. They generate leads, assess customer needs, and present options that best meet those needs to win business.

Responsibilities
  • Generate sales leads and develop a robust sales pipeline.
  • Assess customers’ needs and present service options that best meet those needs.
  • Sell on-site document destruction services, hazardous and medical waste removal, and sustainability solutions.
  • Build and maintain long-term, business-to-business relationships with multiple levels of decision makers.
  • Communicate value propositions effectively and negotiate favorable terms.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Strong prospecting and business development skills.
  • Experience initiating and managing successful B2B sales and service relationships.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and internet savvy.
  • Results oriented with a sense of urgency; motivated by success.
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license and is prepared to travel within a defined territory.
  • 2–3 years of related B2B sales experience with varying sales cycles and multiple levels of decision makers is preferred.
  • Experience in a high-volume/high-transaction industry is preferred.
  • Post-secondary education (college or university degree), with a major in business or sales and marketing is preferred.
