Job Summary

Revelton Distilling Company is seeking a strategic, driven Kansas City, MO & Kansas State Sales Representative to oversee sales, distribution, and brand priorities in the Kansas City, MO & Kansas markets for Revelton Distillery. The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in the beverage alcohol industry or hospitality sales, including working with distributors, and a history of developing and executing product programming to drive sales.

This role will focus on expanding our market presence, strengthening key partnerships, and executing brand‑building initiatives. A college degree is not required but preferred.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Distributor Management
  • Develop and execute a territory level sales strategy to achieve distribution, programming and volume targets, work with sales team on the state‑wide targets.
  • Manage assigned key account list which will include both on and off‑premise accounts; the majority is expected to be on‑premise. Focus on building strong relationships, securing placements, and menus / features mentions.
  • Identify new business and activation opportunities to expand market penetration and grow brand presence.
  • Collaborating with the distributor’s sales team in their accounts and mutually shared accounts to drive sales and awareness of Revelton.
  • Provide training, support, and motivation to distributor sales teams to enhance brand knowledge and commitment.
  • When directed by leadership, assist in efforts to open nearby state markets.
Brand & Market Development
  • Contribute to product programming that drives consumer engagement and increases brand visibility.
  • Plan and execute brand activations, promotional events, trade tastings, and account education. This will include events at Revelton Distillery as well as in markets territories.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and key market activations.
  • Work closely with the Revelton executive team to tailor campaigns and sales materials to local market needs.
  • Identify, organize, and perform trade tours at the distillery with key hospitality industry partners.
Reporting & Business Planning
  • Track and analyze sales data, distributor performance, and market trends to inform decision‑making.
  • Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly reports detailing key performance metrics, market opportunities, and challenges in key accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal alcohol regulations.
  • Assist with annual business planning and budgeting for the assigned state/territory.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the beverage alcohol industry (spirits preferred).
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience working with distributors in sales or management capacity.
  • Strong understanding of product programming development and execution to drive sales and brand awareness.
  • Passion for craft spirits and a deep understanding of the industry and consumer trends.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills are essential.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel routinely within the state and outside of the territory as needed. The sales team is expected to be at distillery frequently and at distillery related events at various locations as determined by leadership.
  • Upon opening new state markets, able and willing to travel when needed.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to pick up and/or move objects repeatedly up to 30 pounds without assistance.
