An environmental consultancy in Kansas City is seeking an Assistant Geologist for a 12-month contract-to-hire. This role involves supporting environmental investigation and remediation projects. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field, hands-on field experience in soil logging and groundwater sampling, as well as knowledge of hydrogeology. Responsibilities include assisting with data assessment, proposal writing, and field compliance monitoring.

A valid driver's license is required for fieldwork, and OSHA HAZWOPER certification is preferred.
