Our Mass Spectrometry Bioanalysis lab team uses their knowledge of GLP and GCP methods to support clients’ regulatory submissions for drug discovery, preclinical, and clinical studies, including bioanalysis of drugs and metabolites, biomarkers, and active endogenous compounds in biological fluids and tissues.

In this role, we will rely on you to:
  • Sample pipetting and drug weighing
  • Perform Sample Extraction Techniques using Protein Precipitation, Liquid-Liquid, and Solid Phase
  • Limited development of methods using LC-MS/MS, preferably Bioanalytical, unless solely functioning as an MD scientist
  • Ensure adequate supplies to initiate method development, sample preparation and analysis, data interpretation & review, troubleshooting, and report preparation
  • Design basic experiments & evaluate outcome vs. current best practices, protocols, and other relevant guidelines; recommend appropriate course of action as necessary
  • Act as lead scientist, help to design experiments, provide work instructions and technical training to more junior scientific staff in daily activities
  • Prepare data summaries for senior scientists to aid in client updates
  • Interact with clients and/or auditors as necessary
  • Act as a technical expert for all aspects of process design and problem-solving
  • Proficient at applicable software used for the position (i.e., Analyst, Watson, or equivalent)
  • Perform all aspects of the job in a way that supports company brand and the company mission, vision, and values
To qualify for this role, you will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field with at least 3 years of industry experience OR
  • Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field with at least 2 years of industry experience OR
  • PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field with at least 1 year of industry experience
  • Good knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical writing and basic computer skills
  • Willingness and ability to provide procedural training and coaching
  • Perform all aspects of the job in a way that supports the company brand and the company mission, vision, and values

Depending on your background and qualifications, we may consider hiring you for one of three levels of Scientist roles at KCAS Bio. This will be determined during the interview process.
