Security Officer Part Time Visitor Desk

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the front desk.
• Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify visitor access according to location protocols, and report unusual or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
• Answer questions, assist with directions, and support a professional front desk presence while helping to address security-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with professionalism, document relevant details, and communicate with Allied Universal management and/or location contacts as needed.
• Support access control functions, maintain required logs and records, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk observation and policy-based screening.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
