Requirements- Must possess a valid Armed Security Officer license in accordance with state/local regulations
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military preferred
- Valid firearm permit and ability to demonstrate proficiency with assigned weapon
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional security or criminal justice education a plus
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
- Must be physically fit, able to stand or patrol for extended periods, and work in various environments
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain) preferred
- Must have reliable transportation and be punctual for all assigned shifts
Duties:
- Monitor and Authorize the Arrival/Departure of Employees, Visitors, and Any Other individuals to Maintain Security Detail
- Conduct Regular Patrols of Designated Area by Foot and/or Company Vehicle
- Be Aware and Report Suspicious Activity
- Write Detailed Reports on Daily Activities/Incidents
- Communicate Effectively with Law Enforcement, Superior and Property Management as Needed
- Maintain High Visibility and Attentiveness to Detail
- Monitor CCTV and Alarm Systems
- Oversee daily security operations
- Serve as primary client contact for security matters
- Provide Excellent Customer Service to All Individuals you encounter
