Job Description
Saint Luke's South Hospital in Overland Park, KS is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our team. The role requires knowledge of all aspects of security, including patrolling, approved security responses, and reporting incidents/issues according to department procedures.
Age Requirement
:
Individuals must be 21 years or older.
Shift Details
:
Full Time, Evening 3pm‑1am, Wheel Rotation.
Salary
:
Starting hourly rate $25.00/hr.
Responsibilities
:
- Assist employees, patients, and visitors with parking needs; control entrances and exits to parking lots.
- Patrol the hospital campus and report safety/security issues according to department procedures.
- Provide personal escorts and other routine security services to employees, patients, and visitors.
Candidate Qualities
:
We are looking for someone excited about working with people and has a positive attitude. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, willingness to work, is adaptable and eager to learn. This position requires you to work autonomously as well as with a team.
