SummaryThe Technical Surveillance and Countermeasures (TSCM) Tech Security Specialist II positions supports TSCM operations, program requirements, and security system which include intrusion detection. access control, video surveillance, and other electronic security related technologies. The positions requires the ability to interact and communicate effectively with IT, Cybersecurity, facilities, maintenance, engineering, protective force, program management and the integrated supply chain organizations. Reviews, interprets, and applies technical guidance regarding security systems an threats received from the Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Agency, Department of Defense, and other government agencies.
Research, designs, and implements complete and compliant security systems for secure facilities meeting the program requirements of the DOE. Conducts security reviews and risk assessments that are used as the basis for the cost-effective, compliant security system.
- Performs TSCM surveys and equipment inspections.
- Performs in-conference monitoring.
- Advises and assists personnel on matters of technical security policy, procedures, and regulations.
- Completes written reports and security briefings.
- Operates and maintains In Place Monitoring System (IPMS).
