American Boiler & Mechanical is seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipefitter/Welder to join our dynamic team. This position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of boiler piping and related equipment, including layout and welding of piping systems for steam, condensate, hydronic, and process piping. The role also includes potential boiler repair work, contributing to a variety of industrial and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect the workplace, clear obstructions, and prepare materials and equipment.
  • Maintain knowledge of hazard prevention and safety best practices.
  • Order required materials such as pipes, hangers, brackets, and hydraulic cylinders.
  • Repair and maintain pipe systems, supports, and related equipment.
  • Clear pipe systems of obstructions and test functionality.
  • Comply with relevant codes and regulatory standards.
  • Perform SMAW welding for carbon steel; GTAW welding for stainless steel is a plus.
  • Availability to work overtime and participate in a rotating on‑call schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of work‑related experience.
  • Jurisdictional license or willingness to pursue one.
  • Willingness to learn boiler and burner technology.
  • Weekly pay with overtime potential.

Work Schedule
