What you'll be doingWe are seeking a skilled Experienced Concrete Framer/Finisher to join our construction team. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to forming, pouring, and finishing concrete for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a high attention to detail, and extensive experience working with concrete from layout to final finish.
You will be responsible for...- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine formwork layout.
- Construct, set, and align forms for concrete structures such as sidewalks, foundations, slabs, walls, and curbs.
- Place, level, and finish concrete using hand tools, floats, trowels, screeds, and power finishing equipment.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete in accordance with project specs.
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust finishing techniques as needed.
- Apply curing and sealing compounds to concrete surfaces.
- Cut and install rebar, mesh, and other reinforcement materials.
- Ensure proper safety practices and PPE usage on site.
- Communicate with crew members and supervisors to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Perform cleanup and maintenance of tools, equipment, and work area.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of verifiable concrete framing and finishing experience.
- Strong knowledge of forming systems (Symons, plywood, gang forms, etc.).
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment such as concrete saws, power screeds, and trowel machines.
- Familiarity with ADA and local building code requirements for concrete.
- Physical ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work long hours outdoors in various conditions.
- Valid driver s license and reliable transportation.
