The Installation Technician performs installation services for Strong Technical Services across the United States. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with strong attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and can work well independently and within a team. This position requires extensive travel, both over the road and air, and may require weekend, holiday, and overnight work.

• Install projection screens, frames, and masking systems
• Install cinema seating systems, drapery, and speaker systems
• Run network and speaker cabling
• Install display panels on walls and other surfaces
• Install high‑end LED video walls and specialty displays
• Construct and break down scaffolding, bracing, and other temporary structures
• Load and unload building materials
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding quality, specifications, and delivered condition of products
• Take ownership and perform other duties as assigned
• Travel up to 100% of the time and work weekends, occasional holidays, and overnight as required

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 1‑3 years of technical or installation experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery (a plus)
• Basic knowledge of construction techniques
• Comfortable completing work using ladders, scaffolding, and lifts
• Able to lift weight in excess of 50 lbs regularly
• Capable of sitting, standing, pushing, or pulling for periods of time
• Follow safety regulations in accordance with local guidelines
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable working in a high‑stress, fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities
• Strong time‑management, organizational, and analytical skills
• Self‑starter who can find and resolve issues as identified
• Ability to interface with a wide range of personnel within the organization
• Works independently
• Provides exceptional customer service
• Proficient with MS Office and basic computer networking
