Position: Mechanic (Kansas City, MO)

Your Role:

As an equipment mechanic, you'll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring our yellow iron equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. This is not just a job; it's a chance to make a real impact. You'll handle everything from routine maintenance to major repairs, working both independently and as part of a dynamic team.

What You'll Do:
  • Diagnose and Repair: Use your skills to troubleshoot and fix electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and HVAC issues.
  • Keep Us Running: Perform routine preventative maintenance to keep our equipment in top shape.
  • Hands-On Work: Weld, fabricate, and repair components, ensuring everything meets our high standards.
  • On-the-Spot Fixes: Be ready to respond quickly to on-site equipment issues and failures.
  • Safety First: Actively participate in safety committees, training, and always prioritize a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Work with your team to install new equipment and improve existing processes.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience with yellow iron equipment repairs.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems, material handling, and the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 24V.
  • Technical Know-How: Proficient in reading diagrams and schematics, welding, and fabricating components.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Go-Getter: A self-starter who can handle shifting priorities and balance tasks efficiently.
  • Safety Enthusiast: A keen eye for safety and the commitment to adhere to company policies.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for long periods.
  • Bend, stretch, crouch, and stoop.
