Overview
We are seeking a Hospital Maintenance Technician I, also referred to as a Maintenance Worker or Maintenance Specialist. A Hospital Maintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining and repairing non‑medical equipment such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and facility structures to ensure the hospital operates safely and efficiently. They perform routine inspections, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with safety codes to support patient care and hospital operations.

ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an entry‑level or junior candidate. If you have experience or training in HVAC repair, plumbing or electrical systems, you are encouraged to apply.
- Perform general and preventive maintenance: replace light bulbs, perform mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas system tasks.
- Support senior technicians and operations: assist higher‑level technicians with complex repairs, help move equipment or furniture, and provide support during facility emergencies such as floods or power outages.
- Ensure safety and compliance: follow hospital safety protocols, infection control measures, and building codes while reporting any unsafe conditions to supervisors.
- Manage tools and work areas: maintain tools and equipment in good condition and help keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and well‑stocked.
- Able to troubleshoot, read schematics and/or blueprints.
- Valid current state driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 0–1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
