Field Service Technician

ABM Industries is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to support our Energy & Utilities clients within the Technical & Maintenance department. In this role, you will lead on-site diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance of complex electrical, mechanical, and control systems across client facilities. You will serve as a technical expert, mentor junior technicians, and partner closely with Facility Managers to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of energy and utility systems at client facilities
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and control systems
• Lead onsite service activities, coordinate with clients, and ensure minimal downtime
• Document work performed, maintain service records, and provide technical reports
• Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety standards
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, ABM policies, and industry standards
• Collaborate with Facility Managers and operations teams to improve system reliability
• Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and recommend system improvements
