Web Developer, Software Engineer, Front End Developer
The UX/UI Developer specializes in user interface development for responsive web applications. The primary responsibilities include assessing requirements, writing component-based UI features in a single page architecture, consuming web services, improving code quality using web standards and best practices, writing unit tests, and helping to drive the overall UX vision of our financial services applications forward. This person will work with stakeholders and external customers to iteratively improve and refine all aspects of the user experience, including work flows, data visualization, and new feature functions while always striving to improve what already exists.
The UI developer will be comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment with multiple significant iterations on all aspects of the applications over short time periods. They will stay abreast of cutting-edge web concepts and emerging technologies to bring them to life for their customers.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with Unit Testing
- Experience with Web Standards, Accessibility, and Usability
- Experience estimating work effort and tracking progress
- Highly collaborative with strong communication skills
- Strong problem‑solving ability
- Experience working in an Agile delivery model
- CICD experience
- Worked in a Fin Tech environment
JavaScript, Agile, user experience, front end, UI, HTML, CSS, unit testing, CI/CD, Webpack, Polymer, online banking.
Job Type & LocationContract position based out of Kansas City, MO. Fully remote.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range is $60.00 – $75.00/hr.
