Software Engineer, Backend Developer, Full Stack Developer

Job Description

LRS Consulting is looking for a Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting business applications while partnering with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, high‑quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and end users to understand system requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java, C#, .NET, Python, SQL, or similar technologies
• Analyze and improve existing systems and processes
• Create technical documentation and support testing efforts prior to UAT
• Provide application support and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with development, business, and IT teams to resolve issues

Required skills:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Programmer Analyst or Software Engineer
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, C#, .NET, Python, or C++
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, including MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
• Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices
• Experience using development and collaboration tools, such as Git, Jira, Visual Studio, or Eclipse
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

Preferred

Skills:

• Oracle and PL/SQL
• APIs and data integration
• Exposure to mobile platforms, ETL tools, ERP systems, RPA, or modern app frameworks

Base range for this contract position is $35.00 – $43.00 per hour, based on experience. Salary within the range is determined by location and other factors.
