Job SummaryCar Shield is seeking an experienced and motivated Web App Designer/Developer to help us create compelling, scalable, and creative web applications. Successful candidates will have real‑world experience implementing custom web applications in Microsoft .NET Core.
Reporting to the Web App Development Manager, this position is responsible for consolidating large amounts of information into a persuasive visual experience, demonstrating creative, technical and analytical skills, and applying advanced design skills to support a diverse array of marketing objectives. The role requires flexibility, adaptability, the ability to learn quickly in varied technical and creative environments, and a strong sense of design and visual appeal.
Key responsibilities include:
- Consolidating large amounts of information in a persuasive visual experience.
- Demonstrating creative, technical and analytical skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability with the ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments while delivering quality work.
- Using advanced design skills that can support a diverse array of marketing objectives.
- Ability to scope projects and determine both design and development needs.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously within timelines.
- Communicating clearly and persuasively in challenging situations.
- Excellent written communication skills, including proper grammar, spelling, tone, and word choice to promote a respectful and collaborative team environment.

- Must be able to work 5 days a week in the St. Peters, MO office.
- 7+ years of professional experience in web application development, with expertise in .NET, C#, Type Script, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure, or equivalent experience with AWS or GCP, to manage cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Flutter, Capacitor, or similar cross‑platform technologies is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to tackle complex technical challenges with effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both technical and non‑technical, to engage effectively with both engineering teams and business stakeholders.
