Senior Software Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an innovative, modernization-minded Software Engineer to help reimagine and elevate the client experience across our platforms. You will join a collaborative, design-driven team with strong tenure and deep technical expertise.
This role involves leading the development, implementation, and management of technology-based business solutions, with a focus on building scalable, high-quality applications that meet both functional and technical requirements.

What You'll Do

• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including:
  • Requirements analysis
  • Design
  • Development
  • Testing
  • Deployment
  • Maintenance
• Develop dynamic, responsive user interfaces using:
  • Angular
  • Type Script
  • HTML/CSS
  • Modern front-end frameworks
• Design and build scalable backend services and APIs using:
  • C#
  • .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC
  • Web API
• Integrate front-end applications with backend services
• Design and work with SQL Server databases (schema design, queries, data management)
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices
• Implement unit and integration testing to ensure quality
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers

Time Allocation

• 80% - Software development (architecture, design, coding, database work, planning)
• 20% - Production support and incident response

Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 5-9 years of professional experience in .NET development
• Strong experience with C#, MVC, and modern .NET frameworks
• Proficiency in Angular and front-end technologies (Type Script, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns
• Extensive experience with relational databases and SQL
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

This is a Permanent position based out of Kansas City, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
Will get up to 5% bonus based on individual and company performance. 401K and match Medical, dental, vision, long and short term disability PTO and holidays
