Senior Python Developer

Compensation: $57 - 70 /hour, depending on experience

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Python Developer to join their team!

This is a high-impact opportunity to help build a computational design platform supporting engineering teams across critical projects. You’ll work on cloud-based web applications and APIs, contribute to technical decisions, and help shape a growing team. It’s a strong fit for a hands‑on developer who enjoys autonomy, problem‑solving, and building scalable solutions from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and build Python-based web applications and APIs
• Develop scalable cloud solutions in Azure and GCP
• Lead architecture decisions for key system components
• Support deployment, testing, and performance tuning efforts
• Improve application reliability, stability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with technical teams on complex development projects
• Document code, configurations, and solution approaches clearly
• Contribute to engineering workflows and automation improvements

Required Qualifications &

Experience:

• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• 5 recent years of full stack web development experience
• Strong focus on API development
• Experience with Python web application development
• Cloud experience with Azure and/or GCP
• Ability to work independently and make technical decisions

Nice to Have

Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Svelte
• Background in AI development
• Knowledge of Python application structure
• Experience with architectural decision‑making
