Lead Developer, .NET Developer, Front End Developer

Optomi, in partnership with one of our top clients, is seeking a talented Lead .NET Developer to join their team! The right candidate will be a strong hands‑on developer with experience leading and mentoring other developers. This role will involve 60‑70% hands‑on development.

• Strong .NET skills (moving towards .NET
  8)
• UI front end / API back end
• Angular (React experience is acceptable)
• 60‑70% hands‑on coding while overseeing 3‑4 developers

• Lead application development, focusing on architecture, design, and coding.
• Mentor, coach, and provide technical guidance to a small team of developers.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to deliver high‑quality, reliable software.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to inform future solutions.

• Proven experience in .NET development, preferably with .NET 8 application stacks.
• Hands‑on experience with Angular or similar modern front‑end frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of API back‑end development practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and work collaboratively within a small development team.
• Experience with hybrid work environments and remote collaboration tools.
• Adaptability to evolving technical requirements and a passion for learning.
