Job Overview

We have an opportunity for a full-time over-the-road Truck Driver/Recovery Expert!

While Vander Haag's, Inc still holds strong to its family focused values that have been at the core of the business since first opening in 1939, the company now features 12 Midwest locations selling quality used/rebuilt/new truck parts, selling commercial trucks & trailers, and providing full service heavy duty truck repair.

In this position, you will be responsible to pick up salvaged trucks with a pro tote or flatbed trailer from storage lots, ensure that the unit is secured and can safely be towed or hauled, and deliver to our various locations. Prior tow truck and/or recovery experience is preferred.

Must have Class A CDL and a good driving record. Applicants must be registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse to enable a full query for prior drug & alcohol program violations (in compliance with FMCSA rules).

Generally, 50+ hours per week. No weekends or holidays required! Home every weekend and possibly some weeknights depending on schedule and workload.

This position pays an hourly base compensation + overtime. Pay is dependent on experience. With overtime and bonuses, annual compensation can range from $65,000 - $95,000/year.
