In this role, the Accounts Payable Clerk will compile, process, and maintain AP records. This includes monitoring payments, processing them, and the company’s expenditures. Other duties include answering the phone and assisting the Accounting Department as needed with other tasks.
Essential Functions- Verify approval on all invoice requests
- Able to prepare and process invoices for multiple companies
- Update and maintain vendor database
- Able to process and enter 200‑300 invoices per week
- Special projects as assigned
- Able to meet deadlines
- Works well with others
- Proficient with Word and Excel
- Eye for detail; accuracy is imperative
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
- Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Prior AP experience a must;
Oil and Gas related preferred
- Computer
Skills:
Strong background in MS Office applications required. Experience with Microsoft - Work Ethic: Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible in the workplace. Display a sincere desire to provide service or assistance, follow instructions, and take responsibility for own actions. Show a commitment to doing the best job
- Physical Abilities: Lift and carry up to 40 pounds in various packaging
Standard office duties including standing, walking, sitting, and light lifting up to 40 pounds. Tasks may occasionally require pushing or pulling, climbing, or working in varying temperature conditions. The role does not involve permanent heavy lifting or climbing of structural elements. The physical demands do not exceed normal office work.

- Adhere to Jacam Catalyst’s Drug and Alcohol policy and agree to submit to random drug testing as a condition of employment
