Job Description
A growing Johnson County company is actively searching for a Staff / Cost Accountant to add to their growing staff.
The Cost / Staff Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties that include:
- Cost accounting and tracking and pricing of raw materials
- Review reports looking for trends
- General ledger
- Financial statements
- Monitors and analyzes manufacturing spending
- Tracks and manages manufacturing variances
- Inventory monitoring and analysis
- Completes regular reporting activities
- Any other projects and duties as assigned by the manager
SKILLS REQUIRED ACCOUNTANT/BOOKKEEPER POSITION:
- 2+ years accounting experience
- Manufacturing and cost experience is preferred
- Experience with an ERP software a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
