We're looking for a detail-oriented Account Specialist with strong accounting knowledge and advanced Excel skills to join our team. This role is a great fit for someone who's analytical, organized, and comfortable managing financial data and client accounts.
Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain assigned client/business accounts
- Reconcile account statements and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and analyze financial reports using Excel
- Track account balances, payments, and outstanding invoices
- Assist with month-end and year-end account closing processes
- Communicate with clients regarding billing, payments, and account status
- Collaborate with accounting/finance team to ensure accurate reporting
- Identify and correct data entry or reporting errors
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred
- Preferred but not required - 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or account management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Familiarity with accounting software (Quick Books, SAP, Net Suite, etc.) a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
