We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team and support our company's financial operations. This position is responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, supporting financial reporting, and helping ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, analytical, and takes pride in doing quality work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with financial reports and statements.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end closing.
- Assist with audits and financial reviews.
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Work with other departments to resolve accounting issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CAPABILITIES
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, professional, and self-motivated.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and accept feedback.
