for our dealership in Goodland, Kansas

COMPENSATION:
  • This is a full-time position with 45+ hours/week.
  • Base hourly wage $16-20 per hour, DOE.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Receives visitors and telephone calls ensuring these individuals are directed to the proper parties within the dealership.
  • Prepares bank deposits and balances cash receipts.
  • Records standard accounts payable and accounts receivable entries on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Maintains accounts payable or accounts receivable records.
  • Reviews purchase orders ensuring information is accurate and submits supporting paperwork to the Accounting Department.
  • Assists Service Administrator and Service Manager in all areas of the service department including customer inquiries, work orders, reporting, warranty claims, etc.
  • Distributes mail and maintains dealership files.
  • Drafts and types standard letters and memoranda as requested and prepares documents for distribution.
  • Provides administrative support to the sales, parts, and service departments at that location.
  • Acts as liaison between dealership location and Human Resources, assisting local staff with employment paperwork, benefits enrollment, and other personnel related tasks.
  • May order office supplies for store location.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous clerical experience required; experience in a service department preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal/customer-service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office.
  • Use and operation of general office equipment.
  • Excellent oral and written skills;
    Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • High School Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking. Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance. Position also requires driving a vehicle, extensive hours on a computer, hearing normal tones, speaking, and seeing.
