As a Service Writer, you will be the main point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring a smooth process from vehicle intake to release. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, communicate effectively, and ensure that all repairs and services are handled with precision and efficiency.

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service throughout the vehicle repair process.
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and assess vehicle issues to determine the best repair strategy.
• Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance, offering detailed pricing estimates.
• Coordinate with parts suppliers and technicians to ensure all required materials are available for repairs.
• Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicle and estimated completion times.
• Answer questions regarding services performed, pricing details, and future maintenance recommendations.
• Schedule service appointments over the phone and manage service workflow.
• Perform follow-up communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs.

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.
• Basic understanding of automotive repair processes and terminology.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred.
• Computer literacy, including experience with scheduling and invoicing software.
