McGrath Ford in Hiawatha is looking for a motivated and dependable Automotive Lot Attendant to join our team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working around vehicles, staying active, and wants to get their foot in the door of the automotive industry.

More importantly, we're looking for someone interested in growth. This position can serve as a pathway into an Automotive Sales Consultant role. As a Lot Attendant, you'll work closely with our sales team, learn our inventory, gain exposure to the sales process, and become familiar with how a successful dealership operates.

No previous dealership or automotive sales experience is required. If you're hardworking, outgoing, willing to learn, and interested in eventually building a career in sales, we'll give you the opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills from the ground up.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Dependable, punctual, and consistent work history

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely drive, park, and maneuver a variety of cars, trucks, and SUVs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction
• Self-motivated and able to stay productive without constant supervision
• Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers and team members
• Interest in learning more about automotive sales and dealership operations
• Previous automotive experience is not required

• Move, park, stage, and organize new and pre-owned vehicle inventory
• Keep the dealership lot organized, professional, and customer-ready
• Prepare vehicles for display, customer appointments, and test drives
• Maintain vehicle appearance and replenish fuel or fluids as needed
• Assist with vehicle inventory, stock tags, Buyer’s Guides, and other lot processes
• Help Sales Consultants locate, stage, and prepare vehicles for customers
• Shuttle vehicles between dealership locations and departments as needed
• Assist with snow removal, lot maintenance, and seasonal dealership needs
• Work alongside the sales team and gain exposure to customer interactions and the automotive sales process

This position is an opportunity to learn the dealership business while building the skills needed for your next step. You'll gain firsthand experience with our vehicles, customers, sales team, dealership technology, and day-to-day operations.
