Carrier Representative at Anderson Trucking Service Cloud County, KS

Overview

We are growing our Payment Processing Specialist Team and are looking for a Carrier Pay Representative to support accounts payable and administrative functions for carrier settlements and agent commissions.

• Assist with processing carrier settlements in a timely manner to keep payments current.
• Respond to carrier settlement and agent commission phone call inquiries and emails.
• Analyze, research, and resolve problem carrier settlements for timely billing and payables.
• Collaborate with operations, customer service, and sales departments to gather information needed for current payables and hold scenarios.
• Utilize and stay current with ATS policies and procedures to make sound decisions regarding carrier settlement pay requirements.
• Maintain carrier files to ensure proper setup for electronic payment, factoring company, IRS levies, and 1099 related changes.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; higher education in Accounting, Business, or related field is preferred.
• Firm understanding of billing, settlements, and financial information.
• Adaptable in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrating patience, professionalism, and positivity.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Team player, amenable to a variety of work projects.
• Strong typing and keyboarding skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to multi‑task and work independently.

The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $20.00 and $24.50, based on relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
