Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Location: Colby, KS
Schedule: Per Diem Up to 4 days per week needed (ongoing)
Coverage Area: Providers must be willing to travel within a 50-mile radius
Practice Setting: Clinic-based (no personal office required)
Malpractice Insurance: Included in compensation

• $1,000 per day for 5+ hour shifts

• $500 per day for 0 4 hour shifts

• Flat daily rates include exam time, documentation, and required follow-up addendums

This per diem opportunity allows physicians to support U.S. Veterans by conducting one-time disability evaluations. The role is strictly non-treatment and non-prescribing, focused on clinical interviews, medical record review, and limited physical assessments to support benefits determinations.

This position offers flexible scheduling, predictable workflows, and a streamlined clinical environment with no ongoing patient care responsibilities.

• Perform one-time disability evaluations and separation health assessments

• Conduct interview-based exams with limited physical components (e.g., range of motion and muscle strength testing)

• Review medical records and diagnostic documentation

• Complete evaluation reports, medical opinions, and occasional addendums

• Ensure documentation is accurate and completed within required time frames

• Per diem, ongoing need

• Flexible half-day or full-day scheduling options

• No treatment, prescribing, or longitudinal care

• Local travel only (included in compensation)

• Efficient credentialing and onboarding process

• Administrative follow-up work is included in the daily rate

• Family Medicine

• Board Certification required

• Active, unrestricted Kansas medical license required
