HS/MS Physical Education (Strength & Conditioning) Teacher/Football Coach

USD 463 is seeking an experienced HS/MS Physical Education teacher to lead our weight training program for the  school year. This role is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive P.E. classes and strength and conditioning programs for our students who want to improve general fitness as well as our student athletes who are training for competitions.

Curriculum Design:
Develop strength and conditioning programs that focus on functional movement, power, speed, and agility.

Instruction & Safety:
Teach proper lifting techniques with focus on injury prevention and form.

Assessment:
Implement pre- and post-testing protocols to track student progress and data‑driven growth.

Environment Management:
Maintain a clean, organized, and high‑energy weight room environment. Ensure all equipment is inspected and maintained regularly.

Inclusion:
Differentiate instruction for various skill levels, ensuring all students regardless of athletic background feel confident and supported.

Must have valid Kansas teaching license or secondary licensure with appropriate endorsement.

Coaching opportunities (including head football, middle school basketball, and/or track) for the 2026‑2027 school year available.
