Colby Community College is seeking a dynamic, student‑focused leader to serve as Head Rodeo Coach and build a competitive, nationally recognized program. This is a 12‑month, full‑time, non‑faculty position with an anticipated schedule of at least 40 hours per week. Evening, weekend, and travel commitments are required.

• Recruit and attract student‑athletes to the rodeo program.
• Coach and mentor competitors to succeed at the regional and national levels.
• Travel with students for practices and competitions.
• Oversee care and management of practice livestock and rodeo facilities.
• Assist with operations at the Colby Community College Farm.
• Coordinate and host the annual Colby Community College Rodeo.
• Encourage academic success and community involvement among team members.

• Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Experience competing in rodeo required.
• Previous coaching or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, recruiting, and organizational skills.

If the selected candidate holds an associate degree, the College expects the individual to be on a degree pathway toward a bachelor’s degree within three years of employment. Obtainment of a bachelor’s degree will be required for continued employment.

• $43,200 – $54,150 annually
