Silver Lake Schools (USD 372) is seeking a dynamic and motivated High School Business Teacher for the school year. This position offers an exciting opportunity to teach foundational business courses while guiding students through real-world entrepreneurial experiences.
The successful candidate will teach a range of business classes-such as introductory business- marketing- and entrepreneurship-and will manage two thriving student-run enterprises:
* Golden Eagle Bank- a student-operated financial institution.
* Eagle Pride Printing- a t-shirt and custom apparel business.
These programs provide hands-on learning opportunities and connect classroom instruction to practical business management and community service.
Qualifications:
* Kansas teaching license with a Business or Business Education endorsement (or eligibility to obtain).
* Strong communication- organizational- and leadership skills.
* A passion for developing student leadership- career skills- and real-world business knowledge.
* Experience in business operations- entrepreneurship- or school-based enterprise management preferred.
