USD 327 is accepting resumes for a Grades 7-12 Agriculture Teacher for the  school year at Ellsworth Jr/Sr High School.

Qualified individuals should possess the following credentials/qualities:

* Hold a current and appropriate Kansas teaching license or qualify for and receive the initial teaching license at the appropriate grade level and in the assigned subject matter

* Be able to create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning

* Implement lesson plans that actively engage students and provide for the individual needs of students through a variety of appropriate teaching strategies and techniques

* Promote high standards for student performance, positive peer interactions and appropriate social behavior

* Work cooperatively with other school personnel and parents/guardians

* Adhere to USD 327 Board of Education approved policies and regulations

* Maintain open lines of communications with administrative personnel keeping them informed of issues potentially requiring their attention

* Be flexible and be able to perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the Building Principal

* Effective communication skills

* Must be physically present in the classroom
