Waukegan Community Unit School District No. 60 serves nearly 15,500 students in preschool through grade 12 and is located halfway between Chicago, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Michigan. Our District has one early learning center, 15 elementary schools, five middle schools and a high school program divided between two 9 – 12th grade campuses. The District encompasses portions of Waukegan, Beach Park and Park City.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The Speech Pathologist will be directly responsible to the Child Find Coordinator or her designee and complete Speech Language evaluations & IEPs for the Summer Child Find Team.
Responsibilities:Conduct Speech/Language evaluations; write reports; present reports at IEP Eligibility meetings; write appropriate Speech/Language goals; present goals; contact building speech/language therapists; prepare speech/language files; attend IEP meetings; make appropriate recommendations for classrooms; complete all appropriate IEP paperwork.
Qualifications:Must have a valid Illinois Type 73/School Service Personnel Certification
Salary:Per Contract

- Session B: 12:15 - 3:45pm Monday through Thursday
