This position will support students and teachers at Hesston Elementary School with academic needs, professional development, and the Title One program.

• Oversees the Title 1 Program, intervention support, and provides training for interventionists;
• Maintains/Submits the Title 1 Plan;
• Provides coaching to teachers on instruction and student data;
• Provides and supports staff development at the building level;
• Oversees the use of Fastbridge at the building level;
• Analyzes building level data;
• Serves as a member of the Building Leadership Team/District Leadership Team;
• Sets up the computer/keyboarding classes and monitors programming; and
• Completes other duties as assigned by administration.

3 personal days annually; 15 sick leave days annually, accumulative to 65; paid single health insurance benefit with HSA option; IRC 125 plan, including 403b options.

Approximately 870 students attend the schools that comprise Hesston USD 460 . The district operates two educational buildings, including one elementary school (grades K-4) and a newly constructed (2025) 5-12 building that houses the middle school (grades 5-8), and high school (grades 9-12). The transportation area of the district encompasses 60 square miles. Hesston USD 460 takes pride in its reputation of excellence in academic achievement, activities, athletics, and fine arts.

The USD 460 staff includes approximately 70 licensed personnel (teachers/administrators) and 60 classified employees. Together, we are working to make Hesston Schools a place where all students succeed!
